Brenda L. Curry, age 75, of Medora, Indiana, passed away at 12:22 p.m. on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at I.U. Health, Bedford. She was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church and retired from Sparton Industries in Brownstown. Born on July 19, 1940 in Orange County, Indiana, she was the daughter of Paul and Orpha Kimble Allen, both of whom preceded her in death. On December 31, 1960, she married Myron Curry and he survives. Survivors include one son, Larry (Valleri) Curry of Medora; one brother, Charles (Martha) Allen of Bedford; two sisters, Joyce Speer of Utah and Paula (John) Carpenter of Whiteland, Indiana; and one grandson, Hunter Curry. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Richard Allen. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 16, 2015 at Spurgeon Funeral Home, Inc., Brownstown, with Jerry Roberts officiating. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 15, 2015 and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday at Spurgeon Funeral Home, Inc., Brownstown.
