Brenda K. Patton

Brenda K. Patton, age 76, of Norman, passed away on Friday, January 11, 2019, at her residence. Mrs. Patton was a member of Liberty Christian Church. She was a homemaker, a school bus driver and retired from Walmart Distribution Center. Brenda loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and enjoyed playing Bingo, scratching lottery tickets, and going to the boat. Born on May 4, 1942, in Mitchell, she was the daughter of Andrew and Pluma Bell Enochs, both of whom preceded her in death. On October 15, 1960, she married Marvin Patton and he also preceded her in death. Survivors include two sons: Gregory Wayne Patton, and Marlin Ray Patton, both of Norman; one brother, Franklin (Shirley) Enochs of Bloomington; three sisters: Maxine Stroud of Mitchell, Estelle Fisher of Norman, and Mary Flynn of Mitchell; four grandchildren: Karen Blocker, Gregory Patton, Jr., Ethan Patton, and Dylan Cole Patton; and three great-grandchildren: Bre´anna Karen Blocker, Nylah Lorraine Patton, and Lucas Daniel Blocker. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Bonnie Marie Enochs; and two brothers: Andrew Enochs and Paul Enochs. Funeral services for Brenda K. Patton will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 17, 2019, at Spurgeon Funeral Home, Inc., Brownstown, with Ronnie Plumer officiating. Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 16, 2019, at Spurgeon Funeral Home, Inc., and from noon until the time of the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
