Lee A. Blankenship

Lee A. Blankenship, age 53, of Bedford, passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2022, at his home. Mr. Blankenship was employed with Mama's and Papa's restaurant and Hobbies restaurant. He loved constructing and working on models, and he also enjoyed fixing and working on cars and motorcycles. Born on October 8, 1968, in Portsmouth, Virginia, he was the son of Thomas and Dorothy L. Willson Blankenship. His father preceded him in death on December 4, 2021, and his mother survives in Bedford. Survivors also include one son, Brandon Levi Blankenship of Fayetteville; one daughter, Nicole Lynn (Steven) Erwin of Bedford; two sisters: Tammy (Scott) Trowbridge of Bedford and Tanya (Darin) Anderson of Mitchell; and five grandchildren: David Erwin, Brice Erwin, Dominic Erwin, Sierra Erwin, and Hayden Blankenship. Lee was also preceded in death by a brother, Jason Blankenship. Private funeral services for Lee A. Blankenship will be held. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery, Brownstown.
