Lula Davidson Richart, 90, of Brownstown, passed away at her residence. She was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Seymour and was a member of a monthly card party. She was born March 7, 1923, in Oneida, Ky., the daughter of Luther and Sarah Bowling Davidson. She married Joseph Richart II. He preceded her in death on August 16, 2013. She is survived by three sons, Patrick (Karen) Richard of Lake Mary, Fla., Steve (Diane) Richart of Daytona Beach, Fla., and Joseph (Mary) Richart of Daytona Beach, Fla.; a brother, Alfred (JoAnn Davidson) of Seymour; six grandchildren, Steven Richart, Jami Richart, Patrick Richart Jr., Sean Richart, Stacey Ecelbarger and Heather Bishop; and 12 great-grandchildren, Jacob Richart, Lucy Ecelbarger, Cody Richart, Taylor Henderson, Brandon Richart, Caydin Richart, James Michael Richart, Quintyn Bishop, Jordyn Ecelbarger, Avigale Tiemeier, Lilly Tiemeier and KJ Elmore. She was also preceded in death by her parents; seven brothers, Festus, Ford, Forister, Findley, Flemon, Taylor and Manard Davidson; and five sisters, Felma Davidson, Flossie Wille, Flora Roeder, Florence Brooks and Margie Kindred. Scott Erwin will conduct a funeral service at 11 a.m. Thursday at Brownstown First Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Brownstown. Friends and family may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Spurgeon Funeral Home in Brownstown and from 10 a.m. until the service Thursday at the church. Memorials may be made to Brownstown First Baptist Church.
