Tony Kidd

Tony Kidd, age 76, of Vallonia, passed away on Monday, October 30, 2023, at his home. Tony was employed as a truck driver. He enjoyed competitive shooting, motorcycle riding, classic cars, fishing, playing cards, and collecting knives. He was a member of the American Legion, Eagles, all Seymour chapters of the Moose Lodge, and the Medora Conservation Club. Born on December 10, 1946, in Cincinnati, Ohio, he was the son of Otis and Ruby (Troxell) Kidd, both of whom preceded him in death. Survivors include three sons: Todd Anthony Kidd of Bedford, Troy Allen Kidd of Martinsville, and Joshua Adam Kidd of Fishers; one daughter, Deanna Sue York of Danville; one brother, Kenneth Kidd; one sister, Sandy (Warren) Martin; five grandchildren: Christopher Kidd, Rachel Kidd, Michael Kidd, Jacqueline York, and Abigail York; his long-time girlfriend, Joanna Goens of Vallonia; and mother of his children, Rebecca Reynolds. Tony was also preceded in death by two brothers: Larry Kidd and Darryl Kidd. A private family graveside service for Tony Kidd will be conducted on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at Russell Chapel Cemetery. Memorials may be given to Russell Chapel Cemetery.
