    Allan Keith Holle

    August 5, 1944 - December 30, 2021

    Allan Keith Holle, age 77, of Seymour, passed away on Thursday, December 30, 2021, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Holle was a life-time member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Sauers. Allan retired from Cummins Engine Co. after 35 years of service, and he also served in the National Guards. Allan loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and he loved riding on the cookie wagon with them. Allan was an “exceptional” grandpa. He also loved spending time with the Romeo (Retired Old Men Eating Out) group. Allan was a talented artist and, he especially enjoyed drawing church pictures and cartoons. He also enjoyed cutting wood, doing crossword puzzles, and working outside on the farm. Born on August 5, 1944, in Seymour, he was the son of Elmer and Martha Wessel Holle, both of whom preceded him in death. On April 10, 1966, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Sauers, he married Mary Sue “Susie” Lubker and she survives in Seymour. Survivors also include one son: Bradley (Stephanie) Holle of Seymour; two daughters: Lori (Jeff) Stidham of North Vernon, and Leigh (Kurt) Sundling of Fishers; 12 grandchildren: Aviendha Sundling, Kilarendha Sundling, Lethridge Sundling, Kaylarendha Sundling, Loudenridge Sundling, Landridge Sundling, Ziendha Sundling, Luxtonridge Sundling, Ethan Stidham, Liv Holle, Cole Allman, and Tess Allman; and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Allan was also preceded in death by his brother, Michael Holle; and his sister, Bertha Holle. Funeral services for Allan Keith Holle will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, January 3, 2022, at Spurgeon Funeral Home, Inc., Brownstown, with Pastor Craig Muhlbach officiating. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, January 3, 2022, at Spurgeon Funeral Home, Inc. Memorials may be given to St. John’s Lutheran Church, Sauers, Lutheran Hour, Don and Dana Myers Cancer Center, or Schneck Medical Center Hospice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the caring staff of Spurgeon Funeral Home, Inc. Online memorials and condolences may be given at www.spurgeonfh.com
