Anna Mikels

Anna Mikels, age 79, of Norman, was called to her heavenly home on Monday, January 2, 2023.
Anna was born in Whitesburg, Kentucky, on September 15, 1943, to Kenneth and Rachel Caudill Day, both of whom preceded her in death.
On October 3, 1960, she married David Mikels, and he preceded her in death on April 10, 1992.
Survivors include: two sons: Don (Becky) Mikels of Bedford, and Randy (Rose) Mikels of Norman; two daughters, Jodi Taylor of Norman, and Jessica (Bill) Sebastian of Brownstown; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one sister, Helen Ayres of Brown County; and one brother, Major (Carol) Day of Texas.
Anna was also preceded in death by a daughter, Dianna Root; four brothers: Palmer Day, Glen Day, Roy Day, and James Day; and one sister, Sylvia Ziegler.
Private family services for Anna Mikels will be conducted at Old Regular Baptist Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the caring staff at Spurgeon Funeral Home, Inc., Brownstown.
