Anna Margaret Reynolds, age 76, of Brownstown, passed away peacefully on Monday evening, March 2, 2026, at her home surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Reynolds was a faithful, lifelong member of Brownstown Christian Church. She devoted many hours of her time to the church’s shoebox mission project. She also looked forward to the regular card games she shared with the ladies of the church, valuing the fellowship and time spent together.
Maggie dedicated 25 years of loyal service to Silgan Plastics prior to her retirement. After her retirement, she graciously volunteered at Hoosier Christian Village in Brownstown, where she made many lasting friendships.
Her love for Jesus and her family was of the greatest importance to Maggie. She cherished every moment spent with her family. She especially loved attending her grandchildren’s sporting events and took great joy in planting flowers. She was an exceptional cook and was known for always having a meal prepared for anyone who stopped by, drawing from her many well-used cookbooks.
Maggie had a heart of gold and was a dear friend to many.
Born on May 28, 1949, in Seymour, Maggie was the daughter of Otho and Uvah (Green) Overshiner, both of whom preceded her in death. On September 8, 1971, she married Daymond Reynolds, and he preceded her in death on January 1, 2017.
Survivors include two sons: Jason T. Reynolds and Brandon (Zita) Reynolds, both of Brownstown; five grandchildren: Daymond (Lena) Reynolds, Elizabeth Reynolds, Shelby Reynolds, Brandon Reynolds, and Anna Reynolds; and six great-grandchildren.
Maggie was also preceded in death by one son, Andy Reynolds; and three sisters: Norma Carpenter, Mary Alice (Wade) Adams, and Barbara Sue (Doc) Johnson.
Funeral services for Anna Margaret Reynolds will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 6, 2026, at Brownstown Christian Church, with Pastor Mitchell McIntyre officiating.
