Grace Carolyn Horton, age 87, of Norman, passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Grace was a member of Clearspring Baptist Church.
Mrs. Horton was a homemaker. She loved farm life, and she loved working alongside her husband every day on the farm. Grace adored her family, and she especially loved her grandchildren dearly. She also enjoyed reading mystery novels.
Born on March 24, 1936, in Seymour, Grace was the daughter of Lee and Dorothy (Fish) Almond, both of whom preceded her in death. On September 3, 1955, she married Thomas Leon Horton, and he preceded her in death on January 18, 2019.
Survivors include two sons: Kenneth Lee (Roxanna) Horton of Norman, and David (Kristi) Horton of Norman; one daughter, Susan Horton of Norman; six grandchildren: Natasha Horton, Kacie Horton, Amelia Garcia-Grauel (Ben Grauel), Maya Garcia-Villatoro (Christian Villatoro), Isaac Horton, and Hunter Horton; three step-grandchildren: Angie (Danny) Cuson, Jaymie Brodnik, and Robbie (Frederica) Book; and one great-grandchild, KyeLeon James.
Grace was also preceded in death by a son, Clifford Horton; and a daughter, Ruth Horton.
A private family funeral service for Grace Carolyn Horton will be conducted.
Interment will be at Clearspring Cemetery.
