Obituary

Hazel I. Willcutt, age 89, of Medora, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at Schneck Medical Center, Seymour.
Mrs. Willcutt was a member of the Medora Christian Church and a member of the Carr Township Conservation Club and Jackson County Conservation Council.
She retired from Medora Plastics Factory.
Born on April 14, 1927, in Marion County, Indiana, she was the daughter of George and Addie Mitchner Peachee, both of whom preceded her in death. On October 28, 1943, in Lawrence County, Indiana, she married Hershel Willcutt and he preceded her in death on April 13, 2006.
Survivors include one son, Thomas L. (Velma) Willcutt of Seymour; one daughter, Betty J. (Dickie) Clampitt of Medora; Roy Gene (Barbara) Wingler, who resided with her for more than five years; one brother, George L. (Shirley) Peachee, Jr. of Kentucky; three sisters: Alice Galbraith of Seymour; Julietta Weddell of Pineville, Kentucky; and Marilyn Mumford of Columbus, Indiana; three grandchildren: Amber (Barry) Crane; Jason (Diane) Clampitt and Becky (David) Vehslage; three step grandchildren: Bill and Kim Garrison, Mary and Ben Toppe, and James and Teresa Garrison; seven great grandchildren: Logan Lane, Karcyn Gray Davers, Hunter Clampitt, Mickayla Crane, Alyce Crane, Marley Vehslage and Evan Vehslage; eight step great grandchildren; one great-great grandson: Jaxon Lee Gray Davers.
Besides her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by three brothers: Leon Peachee, Roland Peachee and Homer Peachee.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Medora Christian Church with Stan Thomas and Jacob Breedlove officiating. Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, February 10, 2017 at Medora Christian Church and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday at the church.
Burial will be at White River Valley Cemetery, Medora.
Memorials may be given to Medora Christian Church or Carr Township Conservation Club.
