James L. Thompson, II, age 33, of Brownstown, passed away on Sunday, September 26, 2021, at I.U. Health University Hospital, Indianapolis. Jimmy was passionate about his faith and loved God. He enjoyed playing video games and writing poems and songs. You would almost always catch Jimmy walking around barefoot. His pride was spending time with his nephew, Jude. Born on November 22, 1987, in Bedford, he was the son of James L. and Mary E. (Hull) Thompson, both of whom survive in Brownstown. Survivors also include one sister, Jamie L. Thompson; one nephew, Jude Liam Quinn; Aunts: Debra Mitchell and Maria Thompson, as well as several other aunts and uncles. Mr. Thompson was preceded in death by two uncles: David Thompson and Bill Thompson; and one aunt, Patty Thompson. Funeral services for James L. Thompson, II, will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 7, 2021, at Spurgeon Funeral Home, Inc., Brownstown, with Pastor Mitchell McIntyre officiating.
