Jeffery Thomas Clark, age 67, of Brownstown, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, September 27, 2025, with his loved ones by his side.
Jeff was baptized on Monday, September 22, 2025, at his home in Brownstown. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour.
Jeff dedicated forty years of service to the United States Postal Service, a career he truly loved. Before his retirement, he was honored with membership in the prestigious "Million Mile Club," a testament to his commitment and safe driving record. After his retirement, Jeff's greatest passion in life was working alongside his dear friend, Chad, at Cooper Concrete. Beyond his work, Jeff found great joy in using his John Deere equipment for construction projects, especially building cabins and working around his property.
Family meant everything to Jeff, and his friends were just as close, as he had more friends than most could count. Known for never meeting a stranger, Jeff's heart and helping hand were always available, often with a laugh along the way.
Born on August 23, 1958, in Indianapolis, Jeff was the son of Don and Betty (Quandt) Clark. His father preceded him in death, and his mother survives in Marco Island, Florida.
Survivors include two daughters: Symone Clark of Martinsville, and Grace (Jordan) Bell of Ingles; two grandchildren: Kaden Ingram and Everett Jeffrey Bell; two brothers: Don Clark, Jr. and Jerry (Andrea) Clark; two sisters: Dee (Jesse) Smith and Sherry (Todd) Schaeffer; and longtime friend, Sandy Leathermon, along with her children: Misty Leathermon and Darla (Mike) Kelley.
Funeral services for Jeffery Thomas Clark will be conducted at 2:00 pm. on Monday, October 6, 2025, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour, with Pastor Ralph Blomenberg officiating. Friends may call from 12:00 noon until the time of the service at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 6, 2025, at Immanuel Lutheran Church.
Interment will follow at St. John's Lutheran Church, Sauers Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to Immanuel Lutheran Church.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the caring staff at Spurgeon Funeral Home, Inc.
