Jeffery Wayne Lubker, age 62, of Brownstown, passed away on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis, surrounded by his loving family.
Mr. Lubker was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Wegan, where he held various church offices and led the youth group for several years.
Jeff dedicated 25 years to working at the Brownstown Waste Water Treatment Plant, and he also supported his parents in running the Lubker family market until its closure.
Jeff deeply loved his family and especially treasured the moments he spent with his grandchildren. He had a true passion for photography, particularly capturing moments from Brownstown Central High School and Seymour Middle School sports. He also had a great love for woodworking.
Born on August 11, 1962, in Seymour, Jeff was the son of Orville, Jr. and Laura Rose (Burcham) Lubker. His father preceded him in death on August 8, 2015, and his mother survives in Brownstown. On August 8, 2008, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Wegan, he married Rachel Money, and she survives in Brownstown.
Survivors also include one daughter, Lindsey (Matt) Montgomery of Seymour; two sons: Jonathan Keith of Brownstown, and Jacob (Emma) Keith of Indianapolis; two sisters: Rise (Dave) Creasey of Brownsburg, and Sharon (Tom) Smith of Lafayette; one granddaughter, Ellie Montgomery; one grandson, Henry Keith; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Jeffery Wayne Lubker will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Wegan, with Pastor Joel Meyer officiating. Friends may call from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, June 13, 2025, at Spurgeon Funeral Home, Inc., Brownstown, and from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Wegan.
Interment will follow at Kellar Cemetery, North Vernon.
Memorials may be given to Trinity Lutheran High School or Ascension St. Vincent House.
