Jeffrey Lynn Teipen, age 50, of Seymour, passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Mr. Teipen was employed at Aisin USA Mfg., Inc. in Seymour as a manufacturing specialist for 25 years.
Jeff loved taking rides on his Polaris Ranger with his family, hunting, fishing, and cutting firewood for his home. He pulled garden tractors with the Southern Indiana Tractor Puller's Association for over eight years, and he was a member of the National Rifle Association.
Born on July 25, 1972, in Seymour, he was the son of Richard and Conita Holstine Teipen, both of whom preceded him in death. On September 25, 1999, at the Muscatatuck Wildlife Refuge, he married Peggy Sue Rascoe, and she survives in Seymour.
Survivors also include one daughter, Ashley Teipen of Seymour; one brother, Tim Teipen of Seymour; one sister, Lisa Murphy of Seymour; two nephews: Jeremy Murphy and Evan (Jessica) Murphy; and one niece, Teddie (Jimmy) Creech.
Funeral services for Jeffrey Lynn Teipen will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 26, 2023, at Spurgeon Funeral Home, Inc., Brownstown, with Randy King officiating. Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 25, 2023, at Spurgeon Funeral Home, Inc. and from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 26, 2023, at Spurgeon Funeral Home, Inc.
Memorials may be given to Ashley Teipen College Fund.
