Joyce was also deeply committed to her community, volunteering at the Visitor Center and actively participating in the American Business Women’s Association, where she was honored as Woman of the Year.
Born on September 27, 1935, in New Albany, Joyce was the daughter of Ernest and Ellen (Johnson) Stevens, both of whom preceded her in death.
