Lisa Marie Purvis, age 46, of Brownstown, passed away on Tuesday, October 2, 2018, at her residence.
Lisa was of the Methodist faith. She was a stay-at-home mom, loved spending time with her sons and other family members, and loved working and being outdoors.
Born on April 18, 1972, in Seymour, she was the daughter of Ed and Carolyn Smith Purvis. Her father preceded her in death and her mother survives in Ogilville.
Survivors include two sons: Ricky Leon Allen Purvis of Columbus, and Edgar Levi Purvis of Brownstown; four brothers: Leon Henson of Florida, Mike Purvis of Columbus, Mark Allen Purvis of Columbus, and Gregg Purvis of Kentucky; and three sisters, Patty Jo Canada of Bedford, Robin Crawford of Kentucky, and Deb Peyton of Kentucky.
She was also preceded in death by her grandparents, Neal and Mamie Smith; one brother, Ricky Dean Henson; and one sister, Vicky Purvis.
Funeral services for Lisa Marie Purvis will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 6, 2018, at Spurgeon Funeral Home, Inc., Brownstown. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday at Spurgeon Funeral Home, Inc.
Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery, Brownstown.
Memorials may be given to Ogilville Methodist Church and St. Jude Children's Hospital.
