Margaret E. Reed

Margaret E. Reed, age 64, of Indianapolis, passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2019, at her residence.
Margaret retired as a retail merchant. She loved spending time with her family, especially her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and she also loved making blankets for them. Margaret enjoyed wildlife and loved spending time outdoors, and also selling her cross-stitch.
Born on April 22, 1955, in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of Joseph and Inez Brown Winsor, both of whom preceded her in death.
Survivors include: one son, Michael (Sarah) Reed of Fishers; one daughter, Michelle (Brad) Jones of Indianapolis; Mike Reed of Indianapolis; Michael Thompson of Indianapolis; two step-sons: James (Kelly) Thompson and Mike (Chondra) Thompson, both of Indianapolis; one step-daughter, Crystal Thompson of Indianapolis; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Margaret was also preceded in death by an aunt, Ivy Brown Cole.

Funeral services for Margaret E. Reed will be conducted at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, December 4, 2019, at Spurgeon Funeral Home, Inc., Brownstown, with Floyd Fisher officiating. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, December 4, 2019, at Spurgeon Funeral Home, Inc.
Interment will be at Kurtz Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society or Community Health Hospice of Indianapolis.
