Mary-Jo Ann Reinbold, age 91, of Brownstown, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at Columbus Regional Hospital.
Mary-Jo was a very active member of Brownstown United Methodist Church for over 40 years. She had a passion for and loved volunteering at the church.
Mrs. Reinbold was a cosmetologist for many years, and she was also a teacher's aide at Brownstown Elementary School.
Mary-Jo loved her family dearly. She was faithful in having morning devotions, loved cooking for everyone, traveling with tour groups, and volunteering at Hoosier Christian Village Auxiliary.
Born on December 26, 1932, at her home in Tampico, Mary-Jo was the daughter of Walter and Elizabeth (Hansome) Warren, both of whom preceded in her in death. On June 10, 1956, at Brownstown United Methodist Church, she married James William Reinbold, and he preceded her in death on April 16, 1988.
Survivors include two sons: Jon William (Debra) Reinbold of Naples, Florida, and James Warren (Tammi) Reinbold of Freetown; one daughter, Jodi Lynne Henderson of Jeffersonville; one sister, Carol Persinger of Brownstown; one sister-in-law, Harriett Warren of Brownstown; six grandchildren: Vadra (Tony) Sprague, Melissa Everage, Megan Woodruff, Robert (Jessica) Reinbold, Emily Reinbold, and Brian Pence; six great-grandchildren: TJ Sprague, Holden Henderson, Baylie Sprague, Hayden Darby, Nathala Reinbold, and Hadleigh Everage; two great-great grandchildren: Remy Anderson and Kyleigh Sprague; several nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Mary-Jo was also preceded in death by brothers, Jerry Warren and Ervin Warren; brother and sister-in-law, Leroy and Sara Warren; brother-in-law, Thomas Persinger, Jr.; and son-in-law, Mike Henderson.
Funeral services for Mary-Jo Ann Reinbold will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at Spurgeon Funeral Home, Inc., Brownstown, with Pastor Paul Huntsman officiating. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at Spurgeon Funeral Home, Inc.
Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Brownstown.
Memorials may be given to Brownstown United Methodist Church or Hoosier Christian Village Auxiliary.
