Mary Margaret Krumme, age 83, of Seymour, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 12, 2026, at Covered Bridge Health Campus, Seymour, surrounded by her loving family.

Mary attended Redeemer Lutheran Church and First Baptist Church in Seymour.

Mary worked at the Telephone Company for 21 years, Pizza Palace for ten years, and the Holiday Inn for ten years, dedicating a total of 41 years to her professional career.

Family was of utmost importance to Mary. She loved her family dearly and treasured every moment spent with them. She especially enjoyed making tie-dyed pancakes and homemade syrup for her beloved grandchildren and attending Cincinnati Reds baseball games with her family, as she was an avid Reds fan. Mary also cherished time spent socializing with her friends and watching movies. In addition to her love for family and friends, Mary held a special place in her heart for her calico cat, Tippy, whom she cherished immensely.

Born on October 19, 1942, in Seymour, Mary was the daughter of Lawrence Henry and Margaret Lucille (Bryan) Krumme, both of whom preceded her in death.

Survivors include one daughter, Karey LeAnn Krumme Linscott (Mike Wells) of Seymour; six grandchildren: Jeremiah (Kasara) Krumme, Jarrin (Pete) Ferguson, Jordan Hudson, Joshua Hudson, Bradley Linscott, and Margaret Linscott; 14 great-grandchildren; Kennedy, Kiley (Jake), Kaidance, Kendall, Kaley, Kailynn, Louanna, Kailey, Rhyett, Avery, Aiden, Konner, Oakland, and Henley; one great-great-grandchild, Samuel Ray; and sister-in-law, Nila Krumme.

Mary was also preceded in death by one daughter, Kristina Krumme; brother, William Krumme; and brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Janet Krumme.

Funeral services for Mary Margaret Krumme will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at Spurgeon Funeral Home, Inc., Brownstown, with Pastor Jim Hudson officiating. In honor of Mary's birthday, friends may call from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, October 19, 2026, which would have been Mary's 84th birthday, at Spurgeon Funeral Home, Inc. and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at Spurgeon Funeral Home, Inc.

Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery, Seymour.

Memorials may be given to the charity of the donor's choice.
