Obituary

Nolan Patrick Fleming, a beloved child of God, went to be with the Lord at just seven months old on the evening of March 15, 2026, at Riley Children’s Hospital, surrounded by his proud and loving parents. Though his time on earth was brief, Nolan filled the lives of his family with immeasurable love and joy.

In his short months here, he brought smiles, laughter, and a reminder of life’s purest blessings. His gentle smile, bright eyes, and sweet spirit brought happiness to his family and to everyone who had the blessing of meeting him. Nolan loved to eat, cherished his blanket, paci, and teddy bear, adored his big brother, and gave the sweetest snuggles. Though his hands were small, they left lasting imprints on the hearts of everyone who loved him.

Born on July 29, 2025, in Indianapolis, Nolan was the beloved son of Gavin and Peyton (Henry) Fleming, who survive in Brownstown.

Survivors, who also loved Nolan dearly, include his older brother, Grayson Robert Fleming; grandparents: Jason and Carla Hehman of Brownstown, Matt and Brooke Fleming of Salem, and Chad Henry of Crothersville; great-grandparents: Nyoka Minton (Bill Siefker) of Seymour; Trina Fleming of Pekin, and Holly (Marty) Yochem of Salem; aunts: Brycelyn (Wes) Pottschmidt of Brownstown, Adrianna (Austin) Bowles of Brownstown, Gabby Fleming of Indianapolis, Caitlyn (Cameron) Coomer of Sellersburg, and Annabelle Fleming of Salem; uncles: Carl Ruddick of Brownstown, Reese Henry of Brownstown, Landon Hehman of Brownstown, and Alexander Fleming of Salem; cousins: Millie Bowles, Lynnleigh Bowles, Mackie Bowles, Kolbie Bowles, Addilyn Pottschmidt, and Augustus Pottschmidt; and many extended family members, who held him dearly in their hearts.

Nolan was preceded in death by his great-grandfathers: Carl Minton, Tim Fleming, and Larry Burdine, Sr.

The family wishes to thank everyone for their prayers, love, and support during this difficult time. Though their hearts ache and they grieve his loss, they know Nolan’s life touched their family deeply and they trust in God’s plan and hold onto the hope that they will one day be reunited with Nolan in heaven. They take comfort in knowing that Nolan now rests peacefully in the arms of Jesus.
