Patsy L. Thompson

Patsy L. Thompson, age 82, Columbus, passed away at 4:09 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 23, 2014, at Columbus Regional Hospital. Patsy was of the Christian faith. Born on September 14, 1931, in Jackson County, she was the daughter of Glenn and Ethel Boley Thompson. Survivors include a brother, Robert "Bob" Thompson, New Brunswick, N.J.; three nephews, Robert Thompson Jr., John Bruce Thompson and David Thompson, all of Piscataway, N.J.; and a niece, Terry Thompson, Seattle, WA. She was preceded in death by her parents. A funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Spurgeon Funeral Home Inc., Brownstown, with Floyd Fisher officiating. Private burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Brownstown. Friends may call from 9 a.m. until time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
