Peter Horstman, age 70, of Brownstown, passed away on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at his home surrounded by his cherished family.
Peter was a self – employed carpenter owning and operating A & H Builders for more than 10 years. He also worked in sales at Lucas Ackerman. He was also an active member in the Tr-County Builders Association for many years.
Peter loved listening to all kinds of music, tinkering in his woodshop, and most especially attending dirt races with his son.
Born on July 1, 1953, at his homeplace in Brownstown, Peter was the son of Margaret (Nierman) and William Horstman, both of whom preceded him in death. On October 11, 1974, he married Judy (Shaffer) Horstman, and she survives in Brownstown.
Survivors also include one son, Jason (Kim) Horstman of Austin, five devoted grandchildren: Willow Horstman, Ella Horstman, Billie Horstman, Colin Campbell, and Jack Campbell.
Peter Horstman was also preceded in death by one sister, Debbie Horstman.
