Rhea Dawn Nunn, age 90, of Brownstown, passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning, February 12, 2025, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Nunn was a member of Kurtz Church of the Nazarene. Rhea was a beautician, who owned and operated her own salon. She also had a passion for jewelry and worked with it as well. Rhea deeply cherished her late husband, Paul David, and her family, enjoying every moment spent with them. She also had a love for gardening and cooking. Born on August 22, 1934, in Russellville, Alabama, Rhea was the daughter of Robert Russell and Ora Pauline (Hudson) Saladee, both of whom preceded her in death. On January 22, 1950, in Bedford, she married Paul David Nunn, and he preceded her in death on July 23, 2024. Survivors include one son, John T. Nunn, Sr. of Neon, Kentucky; one daughter, Linda R. Morris of Brownstown; four grandchildren: William D. Morris, Christina D. Davis, Rebecca D. Nunn, and John T. Nunn, Jr.; six great-grandchildren: Braden D. Prince, Gage Morris, Dawson M. Luman, Dylan T. Nunn, Drayson P. Nunn, and Drake M. Cruz; and three great-great grandchildren. Rhea was also preceded in death by one son, Stephen D. Nunn; one brother, Charles E. Saladee; and sister-in-law, Beverly. A private family service will be held. Memorials may be given to Schneck Medical Center Hospice through Spurgeon Funeral Home, Inc.
