Rita Pauline Eggeman, age 64, of Bloomington, passed away on Monday, June 5, 2023, at I.U. Bloomington.
Rita was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Bloomington.
Born on November 5, 1958, she was the daughter of Millard and Darlene Tincher Stevens, both of whom preceded her in death. She married Harold Eggeman, and he also preceded her in death.
Survivors include two step-brothers: Ronald Stevens and Dexter May; four step-sisters: Linda Caudill, Sarah Gregory, Sherry Brown, and Penny Godsey; special cousin, Fern Hillenburg; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Larry and Debra Eggeman; and sister-in-law, Joyce Gallion.
Rita was also preceded in death by one brother, Leslie Stevens; and brother-in-law, Bob Gallion.
Funeral services for Rita Pauline Eggeman will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, June 9, 2023, at Spurgeon Funeral Home, Inc., Brownstown, with Pastor Chris Beck officiating. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, June 9, 2023, at the funeral home.
A private graveside service will follow at Immanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery, Seymour.
Memorials may be given to Faith Lutheran Church or Donor's choice.
