Roger E. Jerman

Roger E. Jerman, age 79, of Seymour, passed away on Monday, May 31, 2021, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana, Columbus. Dr. Jerman was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Seymour for 45 years. Roger was a college professor of Business and Transportation at IUPUI for 25 years. He loved gardening with his wife, and traveling when he was younger as well as playing golf. He enjoyed watching Cincinnati baseball and Indiana basketball. Born on May 19, 1942, in Sioux City, Iowa, Roger was the son of Jake and Orpha Larson Jerman, both of whom preceded him in death. On August 26, 1967, in Eugene Oregon, he married Connie Carter and she survives in Seymour. Survivors also include one son, Joe (Francesca Tekula) Jerman of Fishers; and two grandchildren: Jake Jerman and Carter Jerman. Funeral services for Roger E. Jerman will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, June 7, 2021, at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Seymour, with Father Dan Staublin officiating. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m. on Monday at St. Ambrose Catholic Church. A private family interment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, Anthon, Iowa. Due to church requirements, masks must be worn at all times while inside the church during visitation and funeral mass. Memorials may be given to St. Ambrose Catholic Church, or the Roger E.
