Ronald Eugene Goss, age 82, of Seymour, passed away on Thursday, October 19, 2023.
Ronald was a member of Seymour Christian Church for over 20 years.
Mr. Goss retired from Cummins Engine Company after 44 years of service. He loved spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren. He enjoyed playing golf, watching Indiana University and L.A. Dodgers. Ronald was a Jackson Masonic Lodge #146 as well as an Eastern Star #134 Member. He loved spending time with his dog, Tucker.
Born on October 2, 1941, at home in Jackson County, he was the son of Kenneth and Marie Jolly Goss, both of whom preceded him in death. On December 16, 1961, in Freetown, he married Brenda Rose Muscalli, and she survives.
Survivors also include one son, Brian (Rachel) Goss of Madison, Florida; one daughter, Mysti (Terry) Graham of Henryville; three sisters: Wilma Goss, Mary Goss, and Sharon Thickston; eight grandchildren: Clint (Erin) Hanner, Colan (Alyssa) Connon, Andrew Graham, Janelle (Eric) White, Delaney Goss, Ashlynne (Aaron) McClish, Keaton Goss, and Breann Rater; four great-grandchildren: Madalyn Hanner, Ryder White, Parker White, and Amelia Rater.
Ronnie was also preceded in death by one granddaughter, Lauren Hanner; three brothers: Joe Goss, Roger Goss, and Larry Goss; and three sisters: Wanda Barrett, Emma Jean Terkhorn, and Shirley Cogan.
Funeral services for Ronald E. Goss will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 26, 2023, at Spurgeon Funeral Home, Inc., Brownstown, with Steve Cunningham officiating. Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at Spurgeon Funeral Home, Inc. and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 26, 2023, at Spurgeon Funeral Home, Inc. A masonic service will be held on October 25, 2023 at 7 p.m. at Spurgeon Funeral Home, Inc.
Interment will be at Riverview Cemetery, Seymour.
Memorials may be given to Indiana Grand Chapter order of Eastern Star, Service Dog Project.
