Wanda Louise Collins, age 79, of Medora, passed away on Sunday, June 25, 2023, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. Collins attended Honeytown Christian Church.
She retired from Silgan after numerous years of employment.
Wanda loved her family dearly, and she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her great-great granddaughter. Her family was her pride and joy. She was also a mother to many other children in the Medora area. Wanda loved to crochet, work on puzzles, camp, fish, play Euchre, and watch Hallmark movies.
Born on June 24, 1944, at her home in Medora, Wanda was the daughter of David L. and Goldie Cockerham Baughman, both of whom preceded her in death. On July 24, 1960, in Freetown, she married Denver L. Collins, and he preceded her in death on December 14, 2019.
Survivors include one son, Denver "Bo" Collins, Jr. of Medora; three daughters: Sandy Collins of Medora, Carol Stanley of Medora, and Angela (Roger) Davers of Vallonia; one brother, Kenneth (Irene) Baughman of Medora; eight grandchildren: Leslie Green, Samantha (Chris Coleman) Goss, Clayton Davers, Hayley (Johnathon) Davers, Tyler (Nikki) Davers, David Goss, Mary (Will Heary) Goss, and Marissa Stanley; nine great-grandchildren: Jackson (Cheyenne) Goss, Corey Wagner, Chloe Wagner, Gabe Davers, Michael Davers, Rett Davers, Nikolai Goss, Mary Ann Coleman, and Preston Robinson; and one great-great granddaughter, Nova Raine Louise Goss.
She was also preceded in death by son-in-law, Rick Stanley; two great-granddaughters: Kiralee Davers and L'Oreal Coleman; grandson-in-law, Scot Green; two brothers: Roger Baughman and Andy Baughman; and an infant sister.
Friends may call from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at Spurgeon Funeral Home, Inc., Brownstown.
