Willard Edward Tiemeyer, age 65, Freetown, passed away at 2:40 p.m. Thursday, January 2, 2014, at St. Vincent Hospice in Carmel. Mr. Tiemeyer was a Methodist. He retired from Cummins Inc. after more than 30 years of employment. He was a 1968 graduate of Brownstown Central High School. He was born December 28, 1948, in Seymour to Bernard and Ruth Reynolds Tiemeyer. His parents preceded him in death. He married Danet Berbick on April 9, 2012, in Nashville. She survives. Other survivors are three stepdaughters, Deniesha Leslie of Jamaica, Daniela Campbell of Jamaica and Danielle Campbell of Freetown; a sister, Bernicia Diana Holman of Brownstown; two nieces, Angela (Brad) Wingler of Brownstown and Winter Holman of Crothersville; a nephew, Cory Holman of Brownstown; and great-nieces and great-nephews, Alli Mae Wingler, Brennan Wingler, Kaylyn Holman, Koby Davis and Payton Sporleder. Doug Sanders will conduct a funeral service at 11?a.m. Wednesday at Spurgeon Funeral Home in Brownstown. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Brownstown. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 10 a.m. until the service Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Brownstown United Methodist Church.
