William E. Shaw Jr.

William E. Shaw, Jr., age 63, of Seymour, passed away on Monday, July 17, 2023, at Schneck Medical Center, Seymour. Mr. Shaw was employed as a surveyor for INDOT for more than 20 years prior to his retirement. William was an amazing husband and father. He loved fishing and cooking for family and friends, and he was known for his homemade fried chicken. Born on March 11, 1960, in Monrovia, he was the son of William E., Sr. and Judy (Yeadon) Shaw. His father preceded him in death, and his mother survives in Monrovia. On March 31, 1995, in Connersville, he married Lori Ann Landon, and she survives in Seymour. Survivors also include one daughter, Tori Shaw of Indianapolis; two brothers: Brian (Theresa) Shaw, and David Shaw; and one sister, Lisa (Dennis) Lunt. In accordance with Mr. Shaw's wishes, the family has chosen cremation. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the caring staff at Spurgeon Funeral Home, Inc.
